Introduction

Neurocub LLC (“Neurocub,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Acalit, including the Acalit mobile application, website, and related services.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and retained when you use Acalit.

Acalit is designed to support individuals, family members and caregivers, and authorized professionals through structured activities, plans, progress information, communication tools, and related services.

By using Acalit, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, contact us at info@acalit.com.

3. Managed Profiles and Care Relationships

Acalit allows an authorized user, such as a family member or caregiver, to create or manage a profile for another person where appropriate.

Information associated with a managed profile may be accessible to users who have been granted appropriate access to that profile.

Depending on the relationship and permissions, authorized users may be able to:

  • view or manage plans;
  • view activity information;
  • view progress information;
  • participate in Care Circle communications;
  • manage certain profile settings;
  • invite or remove participants;
  • perform other actions permitted by the service.

Creating or managing a profile for another person does not give a user unrestricted access to every part of Acalit. Access is controlled according to the relationship, permissions, and authorization rules associated with the profile.

If you create or manage a profile for another person, you are responsible for having appropriate authority to provide and manage that information.

4. Activity and Progress Information

This information is used to provide the Acalit experience, maintain continuity between sessions, display progress, support authorized care relationships, and improve service operation.

Certain activity and profile information may be processed by Neurocub systems used to provide Acalit functionality.

5. Communications and Support

If you use Care Circle, support, or other messaging features, we may process:

  • message content;
  • sender and recipient information;
  • timestamps;
  • conversation status;
  • support requests;
  • related account or profile references.

We use this information to provide communication features, respond to requests, maintain appropriate access controls, investigate service issues, and maintain relevant operational records.

Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in general support messages.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Some Acalit services may require a paid subscription or other payment.

Payment processing may be provided by Stripe or another authorized payment processor.

Payment processors may collect payment information directly from you according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Acalit may receive and maintain information necessary to manage your subscription or payment relationship, such as:

  • customer identifiers;
  • subscription status;
  • product or plan information;
  • invoice information;
  • payment status;
  • transaction references.

We do not use payment information for unrelated advertising purposes.

If you choose to enable notifications, Acalit may collect and process information necessary to deliver them.

This may include:

  • device installation identifiers;
  • device platform;
  • application version;
  • notification permission status;
  • push notification tokens;
  • notification subscription preferences;
  • delivery and diagnostic information.

Acalit may use Expo notification infrastructure and Apple Push Notification service for notification delivery on supported Apple devices.

Activity reminder notifications are optional.

You can disable activity reminders within Acalit where available or change notification permissions through your device settings.

Visible notification content is designed to avoid unnecessary sensitive profile information.

8. Technical and Diagnostic Information

We may collect technical information necessary to operate and secure the service, such as:

  • application version;
  • device or installation identifiers;

We use this information for troubleshooting, security, fraud and abuse prevention, service reliability, and product operation.

9. How Information May Be Shared

We do not disclose information indiscriminately.

Information may be shared in the following circumstances.

With Authorized Users

Information associated with a profile may be made available to caregivers, family members, professionals, or other participants who have been granted appropriate access to that profile.

Access depends on the permissions and relationships established within Acalit.

With Service Providers

We may use service providers to help operate Acalit.

These may include providers supporting:

  • cloud hosting and infrastructure;
  • payment processing;
  • push notification delivery;
  • application distribution;
  • analytics, diagnostics, or technical operations;
  • communications and support infrastructure.

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are subject to their own legal and contractual obligations.

Examples of services used in connection with Acalit may include Stripe, Expo infrastructure, and Apple services.

At Your Direction

We may disclose information when you request or authorize us to do so, including when you create care relationships, invite participants, or use features designed to share information with another authorized user.

For Legal, Safety, or Security Purposes

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law or legal process;
  • respond to lawful government requests;
  • protect the rights, safety, or security of users or others;
  • investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms;
  • protect Neurocub LLC and the Acalit service.

Business Changes

If Neurocub LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and for legitimate operational, security, legal, billing, audit, and dispute-resolution purposes.

Different categories of information may have different retention periods.

For example, we may retain certain:

  • account records;
  • transaction and billing records;
  • security logs;
  • audit records;
  • deletion-operation records;
  • records necessary to resolve disputes or comply with law

for longer than active application data.

Information stored in backups or dependent systems may remain for a limited period until normal backup or deletion cycles are completed.

We do not promise that every copy of every record is removed immediately when an account deletion request is initiated.

11. Account and Data Deletion

Acalit provides an account deletion function within the application.

When you request deletion of your account, we begin the account deletion process and revoke or remove active account access as appropriate.

This process may include actions such as:

  • revoking active sessions;
  • disabling account authentication;
  • removing or de-identifying account information where appropriate;
  • removing or revoking profile relationships;
  • revoking device notification registrations;
  • removing notification subscriptions;
  • cancelling pending notification jobs.

Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for:

  • legal obligations;
  • billing and transaction records;
  • security;
  • fraud prevention;
  • audit purposes;
  • dispute resolution;
  • enforcement of agreements;
  • technical backup retention.

Certain information associated with another person's profile may also remain where deletion of your account does not give you authority to delete that other person's information.

If you cannot access your account and need assistance, contact us at info@acalit.com or visit https://acalit.com/support/.

12. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

No internet-connected service or data storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

13. Children and Age Requirements

Acalit is intended for use by adults and by individuals whose use of the service is appropriately managed or authorized by a parent, guardian, caregiver, or other authorized representative where applicable.

A person creating or managing an account or profile for another individual is responsible for having appropriate authority to do so.

If you believe information has been provided through Acalit without appropriate authorization, contact us at info@acalit.com.

14. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on the feature and your account permissions, you may be able to:

  • review or update profile information;
  • manage care relationships;
  • change notification preferences;
  • disable activity reminders;
  • change device notification permissions;
  • delete your account.

Information may be processed or stored in the United States or in other locations where our service providers operate.

Data protection laws may differ between jurisdictions.

Where required, we take reasonable steps to handle information in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Acalit changes or as legal, operational, or regulatory requirements evolve.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date shown at the top of this page.

If a change materially affects how the service handles information, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
